The Kite Runner meetup
The book club kick-off was on Friday, August 15th at the Madson house.
We had food that was inline with the theme of the book. Chicken gyros, wild rice, super awesomely yummy cucumber sauce (made by Nicki), pitas, tomato, cucumbers and hummus. Having food themed for the book was something that we all agreed would be good to continue. We drank wine.
We had a good discussion of the book.
We picked a name for the next person to choose a book which turned out to be Erin.
She has a week to choose a book.
